KILHETS – 30th ANNIVERSARY EDITION BOX (5CD)

In 2008 the the Kilhets band celebrated 30 years of its existence. But it did not see it, even it´s possible to say It´s better it didn´t see it. For only a few artists perform convincing achievement after so long time. And the Kilhets achieved very originally at their times.

It was quite extraordinary group performing unusual music. The Kilhets were formed by Petr Krecan (Stehlik, Extempore, Svehlik) as a compact project. Already in the 70s Krecan was concerned to give music totally new form where the music part would be essential. Krecan persuaded that each of prepared and in advance rehearsed music is not authentic and so it has no a bit in common with artwork. However, he did not want even to accept musical improvisation that was a contrast of the rehearsed music production. Krecan was searching a competent musical formation that would be the way and at the same time the result of art.
